See, do and experience technology! That’s Game On, the major technology event that will be held in Breda on May 20 and 21. During this event, more than 1300 students from Brabant experience what it is like to work in technology.
More than 40 companies will present themselves, to make the students enthusiastic for a job in technology. RENA is proud to be one of them. With this event we give our colleagues of the future a glimpse into the world of LED lighting and electronics. At our stand, they will learn more about the basics of additive and subtractive colors, and how colors are applied in RGB LEDs. The event is organised by the entrepreneurs organisation for the technology industry FME, in collaboration with entrepreneurs, government and educational institutions.
Labor shortages
The shortage of staff with the right skills is currently seriously hampering economic growth in the technology sector.
To reduce the shortage of technicians, entrepreneurs, education and government work together to increase the influx of students, to improve the reputation of the technology industry and to attract sufficiently enthusiastic technology teachers. Game On is one of the initiatives.
Game On Breda will be opened on Monday 20 May at 8.30 am by Marianne de Bie, alderman for Youth and Education of Breda. The press is welcome at the opening and at the entire event. Location: Optisport Kunstijsbaan Breda.
